Turquoise Parrotlet Female in Keller, TX

Out of a clutch of 5, a Turquoise female baby Parrotlet is still available from Cosmo & Calypso's clutch. She hatched 1/23/15 and is priced at $250. She's a very sweet girl who has flying and landing under control. Now she's just waiting for a human to bond with or to be the lucky playmate of another. She has been hand fed and hand raised by myself, my husband, and my year old son. So she is accustomed to men, women, and kids. Parrotlets are the smallest captive Parrots in the world between 4.5-5 inches (the Pygmy Parrot is the smallest but is unable to be kept alive in captivity). They have the capability to learn about 15 words and can start as early as 3 to 6 months. This does NOT ensure all parrots will talk. Some just don't care to or aren't properly trained to. It does take time and patience. Other times, they can learn to recognize phrases like nite-nite and other commands. They do not have the ability to scream or screech. At their loudest they sound like sneakers on a basketball court.They can be affectionate and cuddle, puffing up their feathers for being pet or scratched. They can learn to do tricks if trained to.
